TRP will screen the 2007 Colombian Documentary Film "FREKUENSIA KOLOMBIANA" on October 8th at 7:30 PM at El Teatro at the Center for the Performing Arts located at 777 North Green Street in Chicago.
The documentary was directed by Vanessa Gocksch, it explores the traditional forms of Colombian music and it's relation to Hip Hop. This Documentary was showcased in numerous film festival across the United States and Latin America. The Limited edition DVD/CD will available for sale at the event at a special price.
Northwest Indiana to host first annual ELote Music Festival, which is a celebration of Latin culture in Indiana. The three day festival features live music, arts and crafts, food vendors featuring some great home grown Corn along with a huge carnival with rides and games for the whole family. Featured bands are: TOGETHER, MY BROTHERS SALSA BAND, HERENCIA MUSICAL, and many more.

The next stop on the International exchange tour, YURY AI, is in Miami this week to part take in a few community based events. Which includes a performance with Experiment at JAZID, Tonight in Miami. On Friday, August 7th, Yury AI will be at Urban Resurrection PS14 in Downtown Miami, As apart of the BEAT Program; (Bring Eternal Arts of the Streets) Which is an open mic event for the youth in the community.
Yury AI arrived in Chicago today, TRP sponsored Yury's Trip to the Chi. Yury AI to perform at V Live on Thursday, July 30th along with Kinto Sol and Akwid. TRP curated another Lowrider culture exhibit, this time at McCormick Place new West Building durning the Annual NCLR conference. It was cool to see thousands of people check out the rides and take pictures with them.
