Slow + Low: A Lowrider Art & Culture Community Event in Chicago

 Chicago Urban Arts Society is presenting a benefit exhibition/event in Pilsen on August 14th, 2011. Co-presented by Old School Members Only Car Club of Chicago along with Tinta Roja Projects.  This special exhibition showcases the real street culture of Lowriding with all it's elements; Art, customized rides, Lowrider Bicycles, Car & Truck Hopping, tattoo art, airbrushing, pin-stripping, custom paint ,imagery, style, 13" wire spoke rims and much more.

Latino Alliance Celebrates 25th Anniversary

 Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the first student organization at Columbia College Chicago Latino Alliance on Thursday May 5th, 2011 at the Conway Center located 1104 S. Wabash Chicago at 6:30 pm  until 10p. 

 

I am very pleased to see the organization that i was apart of in my college years still going strong.  Congrads to all the members, alumni, and staff at Columbia College.

Closing Night of the Chicago Latino Film Festival 4/13/11

 Latino Cultural Center presents the closing and awards night Noche Mexicana of the CLFF with feature film "Chicogrande" directed by Felipe Cazals On April 13th at 6:00 pm at the AMC River East 21 located on 322 E. Illinois Street in Chicago.  Reception to follow at River East Arts Center.
